American Dolls - A Doll For Every Age

American Dolls are a collection of unique dolls, each with a distinct personality and from a different place and time period, and are part of the American Girls line of high-quality dolls. American Dolls are fun to collect, and great to give as a special gift to an appreciative little girl.

There are six American Doll collections: The American Girls Collection, American Girl Today, Bitty Baby, Bitty Twins, Hopscotch Hill School friends and Marisol. Each collection offers a different set of dolls to enjoy.

The American Girls Collection, described as courageous and spirited girls from the past, includes such great characters as Kaya, a Nez Pierce girl from 1764; Felicity, a young girl from Virginia in 1774; Josefina, a Spanish girl from New Mexicon in 1824; Kirsten, a pioneer girl from Minnesota in 1854; Addy, a slave girl who escaped with her mother in 1864; Samantha, a young girl living with her wealthy grandmother in 1904; Nellie, a servant hired to work for Samantha’s neighbor; Kit, a girl from Cincinnati in 1934; and Mollie, a dreamer and schemer growing up in 1944. Each American doll in the collection comes with her own unique story and accessories.

The American Girl Today collection offers modern dolls that come with a huge variety of fashions, including child-size outfits, so lucky little girls and their dolls can wear matching outfits. The dolls come in your choice of hair color, eye color and skin tone, some even with freckles, so your child can choose a doll that resembles her or her best friend. These American Dolls also have two cute pets available, Licorice the cat and Coconut the dog.

Bitty Baby, another adorable American Doll, is created especially for girls ages three to seven. Very soft, lovable and cuddly, these dolls also come with different hair colors, eyes and skin tones. Your little one can choose the doll she loves the best. They also come with their very own bitty teddy bear, and a variety of adorable outfits.

Bitty Twins, a boy and girl American Doll set, are also created for ages three to seven. These dolls are described as “sweet as sugar but full of spice, a little bit naughty but twice as nice.” They come with their own double-seat wagon and great outfits.
