Asian dolls are enjoying an increase in popularity, which some believe is due in part to the high rate of adoption of Asian children. Many parents hope to find dolls for their children that they can relate to. There are even entire doll families to represent a broad blending of races and cultures.

For the collector, Asian dolls are well worth investigating. The hunt for a rare, highly collectible vintage doll can be quite a thrill. Dolls created throughout the years tend to be a reflection of society at that time, and are a piece of history, both good and bad.
