Best Electronic Gadgets – Nintendo Ranks As One Of The Best
Mobile PC magazine has created a list of some of the top Best Electronic Gadgets of all time.
The video game pioneers such as the
Nintendo Game Boy Advance have made this list as one of
the best developed video games of our time. The Nintendo Game Boy has been a popular portable
computer game since it was first designed in 1987 by Gunpei Yokoi and his R&D1 team at
Nintendo.
The Game Boy was released to the Japanese public in 1989 and the two years later to the
USA. It eventually went on to sell well over 32 million units and continued to grow well
into the 1990’s.
By 1997 a new and more developed Game Boy, called the Game Boy Pocket, was been designed.
This version had a better quality LCD Screen and was smaller in size. The unit was much
lighter than the original version.
There are well over 650 video games that have been released for both the original and
pocket Game units to date. To date Nintendo has sold more than one billion video games
worldwide and have created popular video games such as “Donkey Kong”, “Super Mario”,
“Pokemon and “The Legend of Zelda”.
Nintendo builds and manufacturers both software and hardware for all of its popular
video game systems that include: Game Boy classic and Game Boy Advance as well the
Nintendo 64 consoles.
Nintendo went on to create an even more successful system with its introduction of
the Game Boy Advance SP. It features a stylish flip-top design with rechargeable batteries.
By 2004 Nintendo had launched the new innovative dual screen
video game system called the
Nintendo DS. This unit offers a touch screen control, wireless multiplayer capabilities and
is backward compatible with the Game Boy Advance games. There has been a high demand for the
Nintendo DS system making it one of the most popular portable video game systems to date.
