Family Fun - Exciting Board Games For Those Family Gatherings
So you’re looking for some Family Fun on those rainy afternoons or cold winter days.
There are many activities such as strategy board games that the whole family will love to
play. They will offer the whole family hours of fun and entertainment that all ages will enjoy.
There are a host of board games from, educational and learning games, to adventure and mind
challenging quizzes that are sure to spark the interest of your children.
Here are some of the excellent choices of
board games available for those family gatherings:
- Boogle – You have 3 minutes to find as many words as possible in a four by four
grid. You gain points when you find words that other people can’t. This game is
ideal for the whole family and requires two or more players to compete against.
- Fib Or Not? - This is an excellent family game to includes with those distant
relatives. Each player will take turns telling a unique story in different categories
(e.g. a situation at school). The ideas is to convince the other players that your
story is true or even that it’s false. An excellent way to get to know your family
better.
- Clue The Movie - This is a fun 1985 comedy featuring Christopher Lloyd
as Professor Plum, Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White and Martin Mull as Colonel Mustard.
The game features fantastic wordplay throughout the movie and you will be constantly
laughing throughout the movie.
- Catch Phrase – The ideal of this fun game is to get your team mates to say a
certain phrase or word. Players are divided into two teams each consisting of as
many players as you want there to be. This entertaining game also come in an electronic
version.
- Time’s Up – This game won a Mensa Best Mind Games Award. Each player will compete
over three rounds to try and identify similar sets of celebrities. The game gets more
challenging after every round, and there are new restrictions that are given.
- Encore - If you have a musical family you will love this fun board game. Each
team will compete to sing at least eight words from various songs that include certain
words from the board game. If your team is successful then your opponents must try and
do the same thing. The music is from any style and you need not worry about one
particular type of song.
