Lego Trains – Getting Started With Lego Train Sets
Lego Trains have been a favorite among
childrens collectibles for years. Hobbyist’s and
children have a renewed interest in Lego Train Sets with the new selection of Lego Custom
Kits that are appearing on the market. In addition to being a fun and entertaining hobby,
these train sets offer a number of educational value for your child. These trains make
excellent building toys that teach designing and hand and eye coordination skills for years
to come.
Putting together Lego Train kits can be very challenging in that you start from scratch.
Everything is created from modular components and can be manipulated anyway you want.

- Locomotive train- a must for any set starts with the locomotive. You can find

- Hopper train – this train carries a bulk of goods across the country. It comes with

- Caboose – this is the last car on the train and was considered the nerve center of the freight train
- Speed Regulator – this accessory carries electricity to the train. It plugs into an
AC outlet and sends 9 volts of electricity to the motor below the locomotive
- Train Tracks – Lego trains operate on a pre-fabricated train track that contain metal
strips that are attached to the plastic ties. Tracks come in a variety of pieces from straight
to curved pieces and measure approx. 5 inches long
