Nascar’s Chase for the Cup has everything a Nascar racing fan could want. It features realistic
tracks, cars, drivers and events from the 2004 Nextel Cup Series, the Busch Series, and Craftsman
Truck Series. Overall there are 25 official tracks, 12 fantasy tracks and more than 130 different
drivers, paint schemes and events to choose from.
Nascar 2005 progresses through 4 different action racing series in a groundbreaking story mode.
You can also rattle your rivals with the all new Intimidator button. You can develop your racing
skills and compete against your rivals on the track with all new features and controls. There is
even an off-track confrontation where you can settle disputes with other Nascar drivers by racing
cars through city streets. Nascar fans will react to the drama while watching both their heroes and
villains perform their every move.
Playstation 2 Nascar 2006 Chase For The Cup
The playstation 2 Nascar 2006 version contains some exciting new features that include:
- All new voice commands – this includes the use of voice recognition technology. You can call out to
Nascar team mates for help, or talk to your crew for track conditions
as well as activate the in-game menu options.
- New Dynamic Car Swapping – you can use the right analog stick and take control of your
team mates car during a race and bring him to the front.
- New Interactive crew chief – which includes eight new controller commands such as pitting
with team mates and blocking and holding position. You will feel what it’s like to race as
a Nascar team and get to the front of the pack.
- Driver Attributes – each Nascar driver has their own personality and performance characteristics.
- Top Racing Team – you can build up the ultimate racing team by creating your own character
and working your way up the Nascar ranks.
