Nintendo Revolution Controller – One Handed Video Game Controller

Nintendo is trying to broaden the population of video game players. Nintendo DS Reviews are raving at the new smash-hit sale of the highly innovative Nintendogs game for the portable Nintendo DS system, as well as the new Nintendo Revolution controller that will be key highlight of Nintendo’s upcoming video game console system.

Nintendo will be breaking a 20 year history by abandoning their traditional game controller that is held with two hands. They will introduce an all-new freehand-style controller that is held with only one hand.

The Nintendo Revolution controller has an intuitive interface that will allow players to spin, jump, run, slide, accelerate, dive, kick, throw, steer, bank, shoot, as well as score in a brand new evolutionary way that has never been done before.

Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, explains that “The feeling is so natural and real, as soon as players use the controller, their minds will spin with the possibilities of how this will change gaming as we know it today”. The new controller is very innovating and will entice new gamers to try it out, as well as bring an added excitement to current Nintendo players.

The new Nintendo Revolution controller includes a host a features. When you point the controller at the screen, it will give a lightning-quick element interaction. It provides superb sensing motion, positioning, depth and the targeting is controlled by the movement of the controller itself.

Hard core gamers demand accelerated game-play controls. The Revolution allows for a number of expansions that include a “nunchuk” style analog unit.

The Revolution controller will allow grant flexibility to third party programs. They will be able to use as many of the controller features as they want. You will also be able to incorporate the controller features into games from the SNES, NES, N64 and  Nintendo GameCube generations.

Finally, the new game Nintedogs for the DS is already selling more than 1.5 million copies in North America and Japan. This game is a sophisticated dogfest that has taken the gaming world by storm and has attracted a number of new gamers.
