Where did the original team of Xmen come from?

The original team of Xmen are fascinating and possess a great deal of power.  Professor Charles Xavier, also known to his students as Professor X, is the man responsible for bringing together the Xmen. He is also a mutant himself and possesses amazing mental powers such as telepathy.  He can read minds or send out thoughts into other people's minds, and even make them see things that aren't even there.  He can use his mental powers to temporarily paralyze people so that they cannot move at all, and also wipe out certain memories from people and create complete amnesia.  The professor can even send out mental bolts to knock someone unconscious.  He is also familiar with astral projection and can send out his mind to great distances while his body remains at home.

The original Xmen team includes: Cyclops, Marvel Girl, the Beast, Iceman, and Angel who all studied under Charles Xavier also known as Professor X, with their first great enemy Magneto.  This classic team has taken on many changes over the years, but nothing rivals in comparison to the original members.

Today one can find many different characters and collectibles available online.  For those who are looking into collecting Marvel Legends action figures, there is a an excellent starter kit that is available at great sites like Amazon who is also in partnership with Toys R Us.  The Xmen gift pack includes 5 action set figures from the comic series: Gambit, Beast, Wolverine, Magneto, and Rogue.

The Xmen action figures are very well designed and crafted.  Beast can pose standing on one hand and stay there indefinitely.  This version includes a pair of eyeglasses and an overcoat.  Gambit is similar to the Marvel Legends 4 with a better resemblance to the original comic counterpart.  Wolverine is an unmasked similarity to the Marvel Legends 3.  Magneto comes with an opened mouth angry head sculpture, and  Rogue is the chase figure in this action set.
